About
An engineer's approach to data.
I'm Lorenzo Reale, an independent Power BI consultant. I studied aerospace engineering, and the habit that stayed with me is checking every result against something independent before anyone relies on it. In reporting, that means every figure is reconciled to its source before a report goes live.
I cover the whole chain myself: the SQL underneath, the semantic model and DAX, the report on top, and the Power Automate and SharePoint steps that often feed it. With one person across all of it, any number can be traced back to where it came from, and nothing gets lost in a handover between specialists.
The three projects above are complete reports, with their models, DAX and data generators published on GitHub, so you can judge how I build before we speak. I work with clients across the UK and EU, mostly remotely, with occasional on-site visits when a project needs them.
